Linnea Omholt, Physical Therapist
Hi, I'm Linnea and I'm so happy you're here!
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over eight years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. I received my Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Sciences from Northern Illinois University, where I also completed my doctoral studies and clinical rotations, graduating in 2014.
As a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), I am committed to continually enhancing my skills and knowledge. To that end, I have taken numerous courses on a range of topics, including running, spine, pain education, and pregnancy and postpartum care.
My passion for physical therapy began during my own rehabilitation experience as a student-athlete. Following ACL and meniscus injuries during my high school and college years, I received excellent care from a skilled surgeon and dedicated physical therapists. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in physical therapy.
In addition to my formal education, I have extensive experience in gymnastics, having competed in high school and continued with the sport on a recreational basis. I also enjoy weightlifting with my husband and outdoor activities, such as hiking.
Since returning to the tri-city area in 2018, my family and I have been grateful for the opportunity to raise our three children in this community. I am proud to serve the patients of this area, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through physical therapy.
