what can you help me with?

Dr. Linnea can help you with many musculoskeletal symptoms. This may include daily aches and pains, recent or previous injuries, post surgery, and even nerve pain.

We can help you move better, with less pain, so you can live your life without having to worry about injuring yourself or being in pain. If you have failed previous PT or other treatments in the past, you are in the right place.

We can help you break the cycle of recurring pain, injury, or limitations. See more here.

what happens in the complimentary call?

This is a free 20 minute voice or video call to learn a little bit about you, your concerns and to see if we are the right fit for each other. We will tell you how we can help you, while also giving you some steps or ideas that may be able to help you right away!

Remember, you have control of your healthcare and it's important to have a good fit with your provider. Schedule now

do I need a referral from my doctor?

You don't! You can't schedule an appointment with PT immediately.

In the state of Illinois, physical therapists have direct access which makes it easier for us to see you quicker after an injury.  You can schedule an appointment immediately prior to seeing a physician. As a PT we are trained to identify if you need to be referred to another medical provider and when imaging (x-rays, MRIs) may be necessary before we provide treatment.

do you take my insurance?

We choose to work directly with you instead of contracting with your insurance company. This allows us to provide one on one, individualized and exceptional care without limitations from insurance companies. We accept direct pay by check, cash, or debit/credit card. We also accept health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) for payment. If you are insured by Medicare, you may be directed to a Medicare affiliated provider.

We will provide you with a super bill, at your request that you are welcome to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance company so you know your out of network benefits prior to treatment. Insurance Questions

do you come to my home?

In-home services (or your place of work, park, etc) are available for Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Elburn, and North Aurora when available. We provide telehealth services for those located in Illinois or you can travel to see us at Longevity Health in St. Charles.

do I need a home gym for in-home sessions?

A home gym is a bonus, but not needed! We will bring everything we need including a treatment table, resistance bands, and weights depending on your plan of care.

what should I expect for my appointment?

Wear comfortable, athletic clothing that allows you to move and assess the area of concern. Your initial visit will consist of more discussion so we can understand your history and dive deep into what's been going on. We will perform a physical assessment looking at your mobility, strength, movement patterns, and aggravating activities. You will be provided with education into what we believe may be going on, provide your first treatment and recommend exercises you can perform independently in between visits. We will then discuss your plan of care including the frequency and duration of treatment expected. You may even only need a visit or two.

what is the cost?

The physical therapy plan of care can be highly variable and dependent on your needs and goals. We do find we may see you for less sessions compared to other PT clinics which may reduce your overall cost. See Pricing. You will also receive a good faith estimate prior to your first appointment.
